Childhood and young adulthood are meant to be times of growth, curiosity, and connection but for many, they are overshadowed by anxiety, sadness, or experiences that feel too big to understand. Children may want nothing more than to be kids, yet find themselves consumed by worries, fears, or a constant sense of unease. Young adults may struggle as they navigate relationships, family dynamics, and the pressure of figuring out who they are, all while carrying emotions they don’t quite have words for.
My goal is to walk alongside your children and young adults through these challenges, helping them feel seen, understood, and supported. Together, we work to slowly make sense of overwhelming emotions, build coping skills, and create a space where growth, connection, and healing are possible. Therapy is a journey that can help you towards a life where these struggles become more manageable.
Early loss and grief can add another layer of confusion. When someone experiences loss at a young age, it’s not always possible to fully understand or process it at the time. Together we will work to understand these emotions and learn tools to help ease the pain of loss.
Anxiety, while deeply uncomfortable, is often a meaningful starting point. It can be a signal that something inside needs care, understanding, and support. In therapy, we will gently explore what anxiety is trying to protect or communicate, at a pace that feels safe for you.
